Research estimates of the LGBTQ+ population and life circumstances and health of LGBTQ+ people.SWING had the honor of participating in a press conference on May 12, 2024, to announce the launch of the project "Research on Estimates of the LGBTQ+ Population and Life and Health Situations of LGBTQ+ People." This collaborative research, organized by the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, aims to survey the LGBTQ+ community's lifestyle and health. The event was supported by the Bureau for Supporting the Health of Specific Population Groups (Bureau 9), the Office of Health Promotion Support (Thai Health Promotion Foundation), and the National Statistics Office. Representatives from civil society organizations and the diversity community were also in attendance. The draft was presented to Khun. Wan Muhammad Normatha, Speaker of the House of Representatives, with Khun. Kampee Disthakorn, the Speakers spokesperson, receiving it on his behalf.
